The B³ forums are the best place to get your views heard, recieve help and meet up with likeminded testers and other game enthusiasts. Used properly, the forums can contain and provide a wealth of information, and provide answers to a lot of problems. Along with the general chat and beta discussions, the forums also contain guides and tips from B³ itself, to help you get the most out of each game and beta, and tips on how to give the most relevent feedback. The forums are also monitored by B³ staff on the lookout for exceptional individuals, who provide good feedback and are willing to help out others; these people will recieve extra benefits though our reward and rating scheme.
Below are a few tips for getting noticed and getting the best from our forums;
- Never be afraid to voice your opinion; but if you want to be really heard, voice it in a way that won't offend others who think differently.
- If you need help, or think you've found a problem: tell someone! The forums are there so you can be heard, and share problems and advice.
- Keep things brief, and to the point. Long posts or lots of irrelevent info will just distract from what your really getting at.
- Use the CODE and SPOILER tags where appropriate; long error reports should use the CODE tags, and storyline elements should use SPOILER tags.
- Polite posting gets noticed, abusive posting gets banned. Simple, but important.
- The more information you can provide about your error the better: "This game crashes all the time!" helps no-one. Computer specs, driver versions, OS versions and error logs are all examples of good information to provide.
- Report anything you find abusive or inappropriate immediately; the admins will deal with problems, there's no need to drop to the same level as the poster.
